Quality is really excellent, but design is very, very, very stupid! I assembled all the parts in the middle of my bedroom and hoped to go it to the corner, but later I establish with the intention of based on their design, only it’s assembled, it just sat where it was! Too stupid! Now I can just sleep in the middle of my bedroom!
Besides, no screw holes in the perimeter bars, which make it very hard to assemble the closing three bars.
Stupid design!

The South Shore Platform bed (Onyx Black) arrived today. It was simple enough to place together, despite my general lack of ability with these kinds of things. I did it alone in 50 minutes.
My only complaint is with the intention of it required no signature upon delivery. The FedEx guy apparently took this as meaning it was okay to just leave it in the middle of my driveway– reasonably literally the middle, despite the easily accessible, closed in overhang with the neon sign asking for all packages to be brought inside. Looking out the window, I saw the FedEx delivery man push the box from inside his car on the pavement– shoving it from the back of his car to the ground. The detail with the intention of no boards were broken is a testament, at least, to excellent packaging. I’ll do my best to avoid FedEx from now on.

We got this bed for our 14 yrs ancient daughter. She likes it, too. It is simple and nice looking. For the price $310 and free shipping it is a very excellent deal. Shipping was quick and there was no demage on it. We place it together my husband and I, less then an hour. The parts fits nicely together. Feels sturdy. It is not too hard to go it after we place it together, like others wrote it in their review. We have it on carpet, and it might be harder to get a hold of it if you have hard wood floor.
So far we had this bed for 6 weeks and we are still pleased with it.
I gave a 4 star only because it is not genuine wood and I don’t know how long it is going to be in a excellent shape.

It was honestly simple to place together but there is one step where the outside panels are not well marked enough to make it simple to outline it up… otherwise excellent!

This is a fantastic bed, and was simple to place together, took about an hour with 2 people. All the pieces were there, and not anything broken. We did use carpenter’s glue in the screw holes to increase durability, and it seems pretty sturdy.
