We bought this loft bed for our early-teen son, he likes it. The futon size was hard to contest, we got one too wide and thick, but it is working out as a lounge, not chair. It took a while to assemble, but was not hard, we all helped and it was done in a couple of hours. Our son was very pleased with it, it suits his purpose and age, and will take him through his teen years. We would recommend it to anyone.

This product was hard to place together with the “tools” provided. The futon mattress was very hard to find and is not sold with the unit. THe bottom futon is not for everyday use. The futon is thin and hard to find a cover for. Top bunk and desk are a fantastic combo. Ok for one child not ok for two.
