I was reasonably skeptical about buying this for my daughter’s room, but the color matched her existing furniture and we could not afford solid maple. Caution when assembling, be especially careful when installing hardware into underneath of the top board. I screwed them in too tight and they poked through! Grrrrr! My daughter was excellent about it and has a runner across the top with all her stuffed animals hiding my mix. I also had to drill new holes in the lower front so the bed frame could be attached.

I bought this for my toddler as he is still too young for a bunkbed which is what I ultimately will get for him. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a bed right now as I know in a few years I will be looking for the bunkbed and this certainly fit the financial statement. For the price, this is a excellent buy. The only complaint I have is some of the color on the edges does rub off when putting it together due to the material of the base pieces. Facing pieces are included which helps but it is still noticeable where the facing is not attached. Even so, it still looks pretty excellent and the price is unbeatable. I am overall very pleased.
